| Effects of overexposure. Acute and chronic: Material may be irritating to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Ingestion of large quanities will produce a laxative effect and may irritate the digestive tract. There is also a risk of esophagael, gastric, small intestinal and rectal obstruction due to osmotic disturbance. Persons with pre-existing disorders may be more susceptible. |
